New Year's Eve in Queenstown

Please note: we are now fully booked tonight.

Queenstown is one of New Zealand's favourite destinations to see in the New Year. Tatler is located in The Mall, Queenstown's pedestrian precinct and the heart of New Year's Eve celebrations.

New Year's Eve revelry includes live music around the streets of Queenstown and at midnight our famous fireworks display will farewell 2011 and greet 2012.

We are serving a special set menu for diners on 31 December and we now welcome advance bookings for our early and late sittings.

Our chef has created two menus, a three course menu designed for families early in the evening and a five course menu for later diners who want to stay out and watch the fireworks at midnight. Late diners are welcome to keep their tables all night, using Tatler as a base from which to enjoy the festivities on our doorstep.

Early Menu: 5pm to 7.15pm
$60 per person

Beef consommé
With julienne vegetables

Sauteed king prawns

On an asparagus salad with cherry tomatoes, fresh herbs and lime vinaigrette

Main course

Roasted fillet of beef
Dauphinoise potatoes, mushroom duxelles, buttered asparagus and pinot jus
or
Rack of lamb with a rosemary and hazelnut crust
Kumara rosti, green beans and beetroot glaze
or
Grilled Snapper fillet
New potatoes, steamed broccolini and saffron cream

Dessert

White and dark chocolate mousse
With baileys cream and a berry filled brandy snap basket
or
Raspberry and peach panna cotta
With sable pastry
